How to develop high-quality chemical industry
The chemical industry is a basic industry of the national economy and is related to the development of all walks of life. For example, the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park began construction in 1996, drawing on the experience of world-class chemical parks, implementing five integrations of "product projects, public assistance, logistics transmission, environmental protection, and management services", and emission standards meet or exceed European and American standards. At present, the rate of admission of chemical companies in my country is not high. To break through the dilemma of "chemical besieged city" and "cities besieged chemical industry", it is necessary to increase the intensity of "retreating from the city to the park".

At the same time, BASF's Zhanjiang project with a total investment of US$10 billion and the Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base Project with a planned investment of 200 billion have also settled in coastal areas. How to promote the high-quality development of the chemical industry has become a major issue in coastal areas.
